Kangana Ranaut gets security from MHA and thanks Home Minister Amit Shah :

After Kangana opened her mounth on Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the actress got threats!

The her request to get security got granted in the wake of the threatening statements made by some politicians of Maharashtra.

She tweeted- "This is proof that no fascist forces will be able to suppress nationalist voices. I am indebted to Amit Shah, who could have also asked me to visit Mumbai later considering the present situation, but he honored the words of the daughter of this country. Jai Hind".

Actress will now have two CRPF commandos protecting her at all times, and one of them would on her personal duty at her residence, on a 24x7 basis. The guards would work on shifts and the actress will have a total of 11 CRPF personnel in her security detail, which includes 5 static guards and 6 commandos armed with automatic weapons.

The Central protective cover will bring the Mumbai police under obligation to provide the necessary logistical support and assistance to CRPF for managing Kangana's security detail. Sources indicated that a joint security review shall be held soon, where representatives of intelligence agencies and local police shall be present, to tie up the logistical and coordination matters. This would also require the protectee to declare the principal house where she resides.

Kangana's comment comparing Mumbai to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, made in the context of her criticism of Mumbai police's investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death by hanging, had riled many, including politicians from the ruling dispensation in Maharashtra.

The security move by the BJP-led Centre has intensified politics as the 33-year-old actor faces sharp attacks from Maharashtra's ruling Shiv Sena over her comments on the handling of the Sushant Singh Rajput case. The Sena and the BJP ended their long-term alliance last year over government formation in Maharashtra and have since dueled over various issues including this one.

Ms. Ranaut, currently based in her native Himachal Pradesh, had sharply criticized the Mumbai Police probe into the actor's death and had said under the current Sena-led government, she feared living in Mumbai. The comment led to a severe backlash from the Shiv Sena and its ally NCP, with leaders saying she should stay away from Mumbai. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh of NCP said she should "not return to Mumbai if she feels unsafe". Kangana even tweeted a video condemning the slur, slamming the threats to bring her to harm if she visited Mumbai and declaring her resolve to visit the city on September 9.

The outspoken actor accused Sena leaders like Sanjay Raut of threatening her and remarked "why is Mumbai feeling like Pakistan-occupied- Kashmir".

MsRanaut, who has been targeting the film fraternity over alleged nepotism, bullying of newcomers and rivalries - which she believes had a role in Sushant Singh Rajput's death -- dropped a bombshell on Bollywood insiders. She has been at the forefront of the "Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput" campaign after the actor was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14.

Sena MLA PratapSaranik said the actor should be arrested for sedition and that "if she comes here then our brave women will not leave without slapping her".

The Himachal Pradesh government said the state will provide security to Kangana Ranaut during her upcoming visit to Mumbai – said Himachal Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.
